Lawn Irrigation Systems

In the design of irrigation systems the plot is broken up in the zones and work areas. You decide what part of the lawn will be watered (the hole surface or its part), whether paths will be watered or no, etc. Number of irrigation depends on the lot, the size and complexity of operations, as well as the wishes of the customer. When designing the irrigation system it needs to take into consideration the norm and the necessary amount of water for each culture. Different species of plants should be irrigate differently.

The irrigation systems can be divided into three types :

Manual irrigation (hose watering, manual control). The system usually has incomplete overground or underground separation. The hose with the nozzle is connected to the water-gathering column, and the water is supplied through a ball valve.

Semiautomatic irrigation system - the pipes to pump water to watering devices are placed underground. To open such irrigation system is efectuated by turning on the the sequency of hydrants. Lack of automation greatly reduces the cost of the entire system.

Automatic irrigation systems - the process of water takes place without men' s participation. On small plots can be used the first two options.

To organize a correct lawn watering it is necessary to ensure adequate quantity and pressure of water. There are three ways. The first is to join the Central pipeline. Its pressure is usually much lower than estimated, and the station will have to split into zones for consistent irrigation. The second option is to water from open reservoirs. The disadvantage of this method : without layers of filters irrigation system will fail. The third option is to organize independent water supply.

Automatic Lawn Irrigation System

Automatic irrigation system enables you to establish the sufucient amount of water, time and duration of watering for the hole lawn and for each type of plant.

The automatic irrigation system consists of : Program (controller, timer) and the solenoid valves. Programmer regulates the time of watering cycle, frequency and sequence of irrigation;the valves - water consumption in a particular sector. Programmer's easy to use. The cheaper variant: the programmer can be replaced by one ball hydrant- the system is turned on manually, like the version semiautomatic irrigation).

The network of pipelines, water pump, sprinklers. There are two main types of sprinklers : rotary and pie. The first work in the rotation for the necessary water sector, from 15 to 360 degrees, with the jet of water up to 24 metres. The second type of sprinkler is for the hole water sector at the same time from 0 to 360 degrees, irrigation radius of 1 to 5 meters. The sprinklers are raised over land only on the water time. The height of the rod for the ball may vary : 5, 10, 15 and 30 cm. These sprinklers are more perfect, they don't violate the harmony of the landscape and do not create obstacles to lawn-mower or during games on lawn, etc. Additional equipment. There can be installed additional valves, rain sensors, humidity indicators.      <<< back to the main
