GRASS CUTTING FOR LAWN
Grass cutting for lawn is an obligatory and regular work which is directed at formation of lawn herbage. If you cut your lawn regularly, the grass becomes thicker and the weeds are exterminated. Cutting once a week will be quite enough for many climates. In order to reduce the stressful influence upon the grass after its cutting you should change the setting of cutting from time to time, making it on different heights.
The main tip concerning the lawn cutting is to cut the grass regularly but choose the height of cutting which is not to low. However the most sparing setting for cutting is the middle one as too low cutting will be resulted in the scorched grass by the sun. Too long cutting means a more difficult work by the next cutting. To perform the qualitative cutting, cut relatively dry grass which is not moistened by dew, watering or rain. It is also advisable to alternate the grass cutting along the lawn with across the lawn. If you cut your lawn regularly and there is not so much grass on the lawn, it is not necessarily to remove it. The cut grass will serve as mulch which will protect the lawn surface from insiccation. Moreover, the remainders of plants will decompose gradually, by enriching the soil with organics. However if the grass cutting is carried out with delay and correspondingly there is much cut grass, in this case it is necessary to remove the grass from the lawn, otherwise the decaying grass may become the source of fungus infections. It will slow down the growth of grass, and because of lack of light, the grass will loose the green coloration.
